Its here!!!

I just love this time of year. I can't believe it has come so fast. Nick and I kinda got a head start on our decorating this year. I was a little too excited and couldn't wait for our Christmas tree to be up and decorated. I must have to say we pretty much had this up before Thanksgiving.

Anyways, the other week I thought it would be fun to make some sugar cookies. They actually turned out pretty well. We had a boucin good time together. I'm excited to make some more. These ones didn't last too long. :)

So...I'm absolutely terrible at this whole "blog" thing so...needless to say I'll try better.

Nick and I recently went on a little vacay to California. We had a bouncin good time together. Over 23+ hours in the car together can get a little crazy. I just love the crap out of him.
Here are some pics of our trip.

Alcatraz...money.

boardwalk..."Wharf!"

...of coarse we had to get a shot of the beautiful half moon bay.

There are plenty of more pics of us trying to camp...we almost succeeded this time. We only forgot a few things. All I'm comparing it to was the last outing which began with us asking people for matches...some newspaper... water...so we melted ice over the fire in our tent holder. It was pretty legit.
Here are some pics of that epic night.

Nick doing a great job at making us some water.

Look at our cute little tent. Love it.

Clark W. Griswold

hey all, I thought I'd use this blog to its fullest advertising potential. That being said myself and couple other chosen few are going to be installing Christmas lights this winter. I must say we have done some significant research and understand what it takes to bring the people a great service for an even greater price! Most of our research involved watching this guy in action.

Anyway, if any of the 2 people reading this blog have any relatives, friends, or houses in the Ada County area please let them know we are their one-stop-shop for all things Christmas light related!!

I did it!

On April 18th 2009 i embarked on the "toughest half Marathon in the Northwest" AKA The Race to Robie Creek.  For all you naysayers go ahead and click right here, scroll down to number 55 then quit your nay saying.  Okay so you might be saying "oh number 55, how weak sauce!"  well guess what i double dog dare anybody that is reading this to sign up next year and see how well you do.

My mom and I trained mostly on flat ground so basically that did nothing for us as the first 8 1/2 miles of the race were straight up hill and the second half was straight down.  I have no idea how my mom did it, because less than half way through i almost tripped on a rock and immediately thereafter wished i would have went down and broke both my legs in three spots.  The journey down the hill provided me with cramps in both my hamstrings and the arches of my feet.  After the race as other participants pounded cookies, chili, beer and soda i was in the corner puking my guts out ( 9 times to be exact) and as nick puts it looked "special" as i walked for the next two days.  Notice how happy i am before the race because i had no idea what i was getting into.

thursday on thursday

I guess the Boise scene isn't completely dead, one of my favorite bands by the name of Thursday decided to roll through with the taste of chaos tour. I'll be honest it was more than a taste of chaos, is was one of those 6 foot long subs of chaos, topped off with a little jet black new year. unfortunately I couldn't trick Jessica to go with me so I was a loner.

anniversary number 1

We went to McCall for our first anniversary, it was sick. We spent one day boarding at tamarack and the rest of the time catching up on some much needed R and R. (reading and raquetball)

honeymoon

Nick and I got married on December 29th 2007. We left for Cancun one week later and had a blast. among other things we went parasailing, snorkeling, paddle-boating, mexican bargain hunting, and much much much much more like....tanning, traveling to ancient ruins, long walks on the beach, sneaking into fancy restaurants, getting lost on the city bus (nick's fault), pounding as many banana daquaris as possible, body surfing, etc. like.....trying to take cool pictures, wondering why our hotel wasnt nicer, watching spanish tv, and finally paying way too much for our taxi ride to the airport.
